eh, I can take them or leave them. I actually like EJ and I think James is very nicely put together. but he really doesn't need to be stuck with that albatross, Sami. I think she will destroy his character. he is supposed to be a DiMera. but one that is struggling with his identity. I think he will eventually be another Tony. unless Sami ruins him. if the writers put them together, I see no future for him. he'll just wind up as Sami's doormat and eventually be shipped off to Denmark or some place. LMAO!

I am still mad Sami chose Rafe over Lucas! I mean how could you! Oh and if EJ were someone else I would be ALL over him in a second, but alas he is who he is and he is a rapist and the man who shot Isabella's love with a black gloved hand.

Turtledove that is my thoughts about EJ as well. He is very good looking and had they cast him as say a doctor and a Horton..wooohooo he woulda made my libedo scream. But I am working hard to get over Lucas and Sami, they are a moot point now I just don't see him ever coming back.

Has anyone read the book just published about days? I heard that there is alot in it about EJ Dimera and hardly a mention of Lucas Horton. Sad, sad, sad deal.

I hadn't heard that about the book; that's interesting. TPTB really didn't want to write for Lucas and are now acting like he never existed. Sad, really.

You know, I haven't seen much mention of Lucas ANYWHERE! I thought he might make a comeback with Alice passing away and all. Maybe he is related to the Shane storyline?

Unfortunately Rafe is related to the Shane storyline, so no Lucas. Again, Rafe is taking Lucas' place.

I am so sick of Rafe. As long as he is around there will never be Lumi again.

I still don't agree that Rafe killed Lumi. It was Dena Hackley and Tomlin that did that, all by the wittle selves. With another producer and writer at the helm, Bryan could be asked back.

the only reason I think he was a part of the demise of Lucas/Lumi is because Tomlin LOVES GG. this Rafe character is his baby because he loves GG so much. and GG was in desperate need of a job. his arrogant attitude doesn't help matters. so I may not hold him 100% responsible, but to some degree, he had his part...just like EJ. TPTB should've left well enough alone.

But see they are the ones that created this monster! Gave him a job without Sheridan and all! Hey created Rafe, gave him life, brought him to town and BAM! he kills Lumi.

But it all started bc of Tomlin. Gering just accepted a job offer. I am sure he didn't know it would lead to this.

I dunno...word on the street (well, the street here in Nashville, LOL!) says he knew full well why he was being brought in and was excited about it. he wanted to be the reason the fan wars ended. Tomlin bounced it off him, he loved the idea and jumped on it.

I don't think he ever thought anyone would lose their job over it, but he knew he was being brought in to open a new fan base and stop the EJami/Lumi wars.

now if they bring Lucas back, hook him up with Arianna, make a real couple that people can get behind and really root for, THAT will make up for the whole Rafe fiasco to me. see? I'm easy! LOL!

Oh I think he knew full well he was coming on to replace Lucas. he could have said no to the job offer.

I'm hoping Bryan gets a fabulous new gig and he can thumb his nose at Days. If they had treated me the way they treated Bryan, they could kiss my ass.
